    Rare illustrated book on the making and history of sash "Ceinture fléchée" in Quebec, Canada. Book is in French and dated Septembre 30, 1945. Explains the different types of sashes, motifs and regions: Assomption sash, arrow sash, pearls, flames, Hudson fur trade style, etc. Artisans throughout Quebec still weave sashes using local homespun wool. Our "Bonhomme Carnaval" still wears one proudly. Book measures 6.5 X 9.5 inches.
