    Antique 1800's French Academy Speeches Reports & Letters by Famous Authors Lamartine, Ségur, Dumas

    3 original 1800's books published by the French Academy (Académie Française), original leather bindings still holding, no loose  or missing pages. Contain speeches, reports and inaugurations presented by French Academy members, directors and famous authors such as Lamartine, Dumas and Comptes Philippe de Ségur. All 3 volumes are in French, entitled "Discours et Rapports de l'Académie Française" and cover periods 1830-1839, 1870-1879 and 1880-1889 (Part II). Published in Paris by Firmin-Didot. Books were owned by Doctor Jacques Fortier, renowned doctor and author from Montreal (Quebec, Canada) in the early 1900's. Each book measures 8 7/8 X 10 7/8 inches, total weight 16 pounds.
