Painting by Quebec Artist Jerome Rochette 48X24" Flock of Seagulls Seabirds Flying, Disturbed Man Holding his Head, Acrylic on Board

Original acrylic on flakeboard painting by Quebec artist Jérôme Rochette, 48 X 24 inches. From a 2014 series of seabird paintings entitled "Les Nuisibles - The Harmful". Seagulls are quite common in cities and islands surrounded by water like Quebec and Montreal. They are renowned for discharging feces from above unexpectedly. The disturbed man portrayed on this painting seems to be a victim.

Jérôme Rochette is a Quebec City painter who lives in the St-Roch district, born in 1978. His paintings are influenced by street art, tattoos, people, news events and biology. He usually uses acrylic paint, charcoal, marker and spray paint. His work is featured in several public exhibitions in Quebec and at Galerie Le Royer in Montreal. We acquired several of his paintings at auction and are currently featuring his work.
