    Antique 1899 Book Robert The Bruce by Maxwell, Braveheart, Molson Frasier Library
    Remarkable condition, complete, measures 5 5/8 X 7 3/4". Dozens of illustrations, scenes, coins and stamps. Marked by the Fraser Institute Library in Montreal, book requested by John Henry Robinson Molson, owner of the famous Molson Brewery and Bank. Book is entitled Robert The Bruce and the Struggle for Scottish Independence. Written by Sir Herbert Maxwell and published in 1899 by Putnam's Sons. Marked "By the Gracious Permission of His Royal Highness Albert Edward, Prince of Wales and Earl of Carrick, This Work is Most Respectfully Dedicated to Him by the Author". In the Braveheart movie, Robert the Bruce was fighting with and against William Wallace known as Braveheart (Mel Gibson).
